Pacibook may offer AI Features (such as translation) to assist reading. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete.
- We may process text and language selections to deliver AI Features.
- The original book text remains unchanged; AI output is an optional reading layer.
- We may use aggregated or de-identified usage metrics to improve reliability and quality.
10) Data retention
We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including legal compliance.
- Account data: typically retained for up to 30 days after a verified deletion request (unless retention is required by law).
- Transaction data: typically retained for up to 7 years for accounting, tax, and legal requirements.
- Support communications: typically retained for up to 2 years after resolution for quality and auditing.
We may retain certain information longer where necessary to comply with law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

15) Refund & replacement policy (digital products)
Because eBooks are digital products, refunds are limited. We consider refund or replacement requests in the scenarios below:
- Defective/corrupted file that cannot be downloaded or accessed.
- Incorrect title/content delivered (not what was purchased).
- Requests must be made within 7 days of purchase, with order details.
- Replacements are provided free of charge for corrupted/incorrect files.
- Typically resolved within 3 business days after verification.
- We may request additional details to reproduce/verify the issue.
