The Quiet Platform of the Hill Library

By Adeeba Rashid

When a rain-soaked parcel lands on Zoya Mir's doorstep containing proof of tomorrow's headlines, the 24-year-old investigative researcher is pulled into a conspiracy that swallowed a championship, a missing parent, and the truth about the neighbourhood she thought she knew. Alongside Kabir, a guarded musician whose grief mirrors her own, Zoya follows handwritten edits in stolen court transcripts toward a betting syndicate that will do anything to stay buried. But a manipulated video strips away her credibility just as their fragile trust becomes something more, and the only way to save the case is to expose everything at a live public event before the file is sealed forever. Dark, intimate, and relentlessly suspenseful, this is a story about the courage it takes to let someone see you clearly when the whole world is watching.
