The Deleted Hour of Room 307

By Prashant Mishra

When investigative researcher Meher Khan arrives on a remote river island in Assam, she is mistaken for a witness who disappeared eight years ago, pulling her into a conspiracy that has literally erased an entire settlement from official maps. A grieving musician whose parent vanished in the original incident becomes her only ally, but trust fractures when Meher realizes someone close to her may be feeding secrets to the enemy. With a legal deadline shrinking to seventy-two hours and evidence that is dangerously incomplete, she must decide whether publishing the truth will free the forgotten or destroy the innocent. The answer is buried inside a shared playlist, and the person she thought was a victim has been watching her every move all along.
