By Adeeba Rashid

Rehan Qureshi, a 23-year-old public defender in the salt-bleached desert of Kutch, has survived on careful silences and borrowed distance from a past that nearly broke him. As the investigation turns on the people closest to him, Rehan must decide whether the career he built on justice is worth more than the friend now sitting in a cell because of evidence Rehan himself unearthed.
