Our Alibi Was Trending at Marine Drive During the Rains

By Prashant Mishra

Rehan Qureshi is nineteen, careful, and almost invisible inside a Bengaluru startup campus where everyone is too busy building the future to examine the past. That changes the morning Rehan finds a rental agreement signed in his own handwriting under a name he has never used. When a musician returns to the city searching for a parent who vanished years ago, Rehan is pulled into a cold case that connects three respected families, a trail of unclaimed courier parcels, and a lie he once told to protect someone who may be the real culprit. With a scholarship on the line and private memories being staged in public spaces, Rehan must decide whether forgiveness is possible when the truth has been buried this deep.
