Our Alibi Was Trending: A Digital Alibi After Midnight

By Prashant Mishra

When radio host Avni Kulkarni is mistaken for a vanished witness on a quiet bookshop lane in Dehradun, she is pulled into an eight-year-old campus mystery that the town has preferred to call a ghost story. Alongside a musician searching for his missing parent, Avni uncovers a lie built to drive tenants from valuable land, a secret society that enforces silence, and a fitness tracker whose cracked screen rewrites everything she thought she knew about guilt. With an engagement announcement closing the window and the only evidence on the wrong side of the law, Avni must choose between the community's comfort and the truth it buried.
