A Version of the Truth: A Campus Secret During the Rains Marine Drive

By Prashant Mishra

In a rain-soaked Mumbai neighbourhood along Marine Drive, student filmmaker Myra Das stumbles onto a viral confession that mirrors her private diary word for word, pulling her into a conspiracy that reaches the heart of her campus community. Alongside Arjun Rao, a musician searching for his missing parent, she begins dismantling the celebrated story of a dramatic rescue, only to find it conceals an accidental death someone powerful needs kept buried. As their investigation deepens so does the dangerous pull between them, complicated by secrets each has withheld and by marginal notes hidden inside donated novels that were never meant to survive. With an internal inquiry branding her work as misconduct and the case about to close forever, Myra must choose between protecting an innocent person and telling a truth that could cost her everything.
